Time to catch up ! I’m at Kalbarri now, but first a few pics and words from a few days ago :

The “Super Pit” .. an awfully big hole in the ground

Each truckload of material from the Superpit produces around $10,000 of gold, and every truck costs $4 million, plus tyres and other running costs.

After Kalgoorlie it was time to head north and chase the sun and warmth, so more to come soon when I have a decent web connection !.
