I’m leaving on a jet plane,
Don’t know when I’ll be back again

That’s the view of my plane from the comfort of the Air New Zealand lounge, courtesy of Thai Airways. I did get upgraded to business class once before, but not until the boarding gate, so I did n’t get to enjoy all the benefits.
I’ve turned down the free breakfast though, because I know we will be getting fed soon enough in the air !
It’s not quite “All Black” in here, but it is rather black as you might expect from the Kiwis. Even the free WiFi coupons are black. It sure beats sitting in the chairs downstairs in the cattle class departure lounge !
Only another 10 hours or so to Bangkok ……..
