While I was in Sydney recently I had a lot of spare time in between weddings and meetings, so I had a go at making a timelapse video. Shooting the thousands of photos needed was the easy part, editing them into something vaguely watchable was harder !

It is probably still a bit too long for the youtube generation’s attention span, but it is finally uploaded. So, if you have 5 minutes or so to waste I present to you “Sitting on the dock of the bay”. I thought that was as good a title as any, as most of it was shot around the harbour. The Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, Luna Park and various Sydney beaches also feature.

Around 13000 still images shot on a Nikon D7000,  approx. 8000 used, edited with Adobe Lightroom and Premiere Pro.
